When Dan & Beth made the decision to purchase their 21-acre property just outside of Covington they planned to build a barndominium for their dream home. After weeks of research and after the design process had already begun that planned changed and they settled on moving to a farmhouse style using Hardie Plank and Owens Corning shingles with a metal roof accent over the front porch and back patio. We love the look of the Hardie Plank exterior along with the two added benefits of being easy to maintain and exceptionally durable. We felt very confident riding out Hurricane Ida, the first major storm to hit our community since moving into our new home. When we decided to add the bunk house shortly after our home was built, we matched the Hardie Plank and shingles with the main house.
